Application Management

The application management committee is responsible for creating the Beautillion Ball Season Application and gathering all information from the Beaux and Beaux Parents.

 

We communicate with the Beaux on a regular basis, so it is very important to ensure we have accurate information to be able to send reminders during the Beaux Season.

Once all information is collected it is disseminated to all members.

 

Informational Meetings

The Informational Meeting Committee is responsible for setting up and executing meetings to all potential / interested Beaux that would like to participate in the upcoming Season. The informational meetings is a recruitment mechanism for the upcoming Beautillion Ball Season.

Meetings Includes the following, list not exhaustive.

•     Application

•     Parent / Guardian handbook

•     Requirements to be a Beaux

•     Payment

•     A high-level overview of all Beautillion Ball activities and what to expect

•     Scholarships

•     A video of what we do as Fun Set Social and Charity Club

 

                                                                       

Get Acquainted Social

The Get Acquainted Social committee puts together ‘A getting to know you’ event for all participating Beaux. This event serves as our kickoff event to the season. The young men get to introduce themselves and get to know other Beaux within the program that will be within them throughout the season.

 

Educational Seminars

The Educational Seminars is responsible for coordinating the Beaux Season training sessions. Currently we have four educational seminars. Each seminar seeks to reach out to community leaders and educators that have valuable information for Beaux and Beaux Parents to support them in prep for graduation and once they graduate.

Topics from this year included:

  • ACT/ SAT Prep and college and scholarship applications

  • Financial literacy

  • Etiquette

  • Non-Traditional Collage prep and scholarship options

  • Knowing your legal rights

  • Voting

 

 

Invitations and Seating

The Invitations and Seating committee serves to coordinate ALL ticket sales for the Beautillion Ball Season.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Creation of invitations

  • Selling tickets

  • Tracking all ticket sales

  • Dissemination of tickets

  • Tracking the number of tickets each Beaux sells

  • Solving seating discrepancies, the night of the Ball

  • Checking tables numbers and ensuring they are correct before the Ball

  • Placing name placards on table

 

Souvenir Books/Ads

The Ads Committee serves to coordinate ALL ad sales for the Beautillion Ball Season.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating Ad submittal link

•    Selling Ads

•    Receiving all ad payments

•    Tracking all ads submitted by each Beau

•    Creating / Supporting technology in putting the Ad memory book together

•    Placing pictures on tables of each Beaux

•    Placing Program on tables of each Beaux

•    Giving out Souvenir Books to each family of each Beaux

 

Training

The training committee serves to coordinate ALL the training sessions for the Beautillion Ball Season.

This includes but not limited to:

• Coordinating with dance teacher that will teach the Beautillion Ball dance

• Coordinating training sessions dates and times.

• Coordinating Beau and Belle attire

• Coordinating Pizza Party for Beaux/Belles at last training practice

Coordinating Beaux and Bell activities the night of the ball

•    Pinning of boutonnieres

•    Placement of corsages

•    Pictures of Beaux and Belles

•    Placing Beaux and Belles in correct order based on program

•    Facilitating morning practice

•    Execution the night of the ball

 

Ushers and Hostesses

The Usher and Hostesses Committee serves to coordinate all of the support needed for the night of the ball. This group is nominally consistent of 10-12 graders in high school. Some 8th and 9th graders are accepted based on maturity level. The night of the Ball they will help escort and seat all who will be attending the Ball as well as any other tasks as deemed necessary.

 

                                                                     

 

Outreach

The Outreach Committee serves to create or find a community entity for our Beaux to support during the Beautillion Season. We also ask the members of Fun Set Social and Charity Club to support and participate in the community activity as well.

Some past events include:

•    Warming, Hands, Hearts, and Gloves: Collection of winter socks, gloves for the homeless. Partnered with a community organization that gives back to the less fortunate and homeless community.

•    Kids to Love Toy Drive: Collection of toys for foster kids for Christmas

•    Manna House: Served Food

•    Can Food Drive

                                                                           

 

Parent Son Brunch

The Parent Son Brunch Committee serves to coordinate our last event before the Ball. The Parent Son Brunch brings families together as a ‘THANKYOU’ to the families for their support of the Beaux throughout the season. It also gives the Beaux an opportunity to tell their parents thankyou for your love and support in life thus far.

Roles and responsibilities include:

•    Coordinating a motivational Speaker

•    Décor

•    Seating arrangements

•    Pinning Ceremony

•    Serenate of the mother

 

Scholarship

The Scholarship committee serves to coordinate, intake and give out Fun Set Social and Charity Club Scholarships each Beautillion Season. Fun Set Social and Charity Club gives out two types of scholarships: Academic and Essay. The committee seeks to pull together experts within the community to judge and bring forth recommendations of Academic and Essay Scholarship winners. These winners are announced the night of the Ball.

 

Program

The program committee is responsible for coordinate the Beautillion Ball Program for the night of the Ball. This is the culmination of the Season and the reason why we do WHAT we do!!!! We seek to make the night a special moment that Beaux and all family members will remember for years to come

 

Coordination includes:

•    Speaker

•    Singers

•    Narrators

•    Band

•    Music for Beaux Dance, this is done in conjunction with training

•    Music

•    Decorations

•    Ensuring the Ball Program runs smoothly the night of the Ball
